Music & Arts is hiring a full-time Retail Store Manager in Coopertown, Robertson County, to lead daily store operations and build a team that turns first-time buyers into lifelong musicians.
About the Role
As the Retail Store Manager at our Coopertown, Robertson County location, you will own the success of the store from the sales floor to the back office. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position where you set the tone for customer service, coach your associates, and keep the business running smoothly day to day. The role pays $19.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on your background and experience, and it is eligible for the Music & Arts Company bonus program tied to overall Company performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct everyday store operations, from opening and closing to inventory and merchandising
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop a motivated team of retail associates
- Drive sales goals while delivering a welcoming experience for students, parents, and working musicians
- Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism and product knowledge
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked storefront that reflects the Music & Arts brand
- Monitor key performance metrics and adjust plans to hit store targets
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail management, supervision, or a comparable leadership role
- Strong people-management skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team
- A customer-first mindset and confident communication style
- Comfort with sales targets, scheduling, and basic operational reporting
- Availability to work on-site full-time, including the flexible hours common in retail
- An appreciation for music and the communities Music & Arts serves is a plus
