We’re looking for a Senior Environment Artist to join our remote team at VOID Interactive. As a Senior Environment Artist, you will play a key role in bringing our worlds to life by creating high-quality, immersive, and performant environments. The ideal candidate will have 3-6+ years of experience as an Environment Artist and a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality environment art.
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience as an Environment Artist
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality environment art
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g. Unreal Engine, Maya/Max/Blender, Substance Painter/Designer)
- Experience creating game-ready assets with a strong understanding of optimisation
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and environmental storytelling
- Ability to take ownership of work from concept/blockout through to final in-engine implementation
- Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional game development team
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating immersive game worlds
