About the Role
As a part-time CRNA with Carilion Professional Services, you will deliver expert anesthesia care to patients at our Roanoke facility (1906 Belleview Ave SE). This position offers flexible scheduling — any day, any shift — making it an excellent fit for skilled anesthesia professionals who want meaningful clinical work alongside the stability of a benefits-eligible part-time schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Administer safe, evidence-based anesthesia care across the perioperative continuum.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthetic plans.
- Monitor patients closely during procedures and manage recovery transitions.
- Partner with surgeons, physicians, and the broader care team to support positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Active, unrestricted nursing and advanced practice licensure as required to practice in Virginia.
- Completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Flexibility to support varied shifts, including any day and any shift assignments.
