About the Role
As a Lateral Associate Attorney in Washington, D.C., you will partner with our client: a globally recognized firm ranked among the AmLaw 20 (the 20th highest-grossing law firm in the United States). This role places you inside a renowned practice with broad legal reach, where collaboration, intellectual rigor, and professional growth are part of everyday work. The position offers an annual salary range of $225,000 to $435,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sophisticated matters within the firm's General Practice Group across a range of legal specialties.
- Advise and represent clients with the precision and standards expected of a world-class, AmLaw-ranked firm.
- Collaborate closely with partners, senior attorneys, and cross-functional teams on complex assignments.
- Contribute to diverse practice areas while continuing to develop your legal expertise.
Qualifications
- A qualified attorney with prior law firm experience seeking a lateral move into a high-caliber environment.
- Demonstrated competence across general practice matters and a readiness to work within multiple specialties.
- Strong analytical, writing, and client-service skills suited to a top-20 national firm.
- Availability to work full-time and on-site in Washington, D.C. (this role is not remote).
