About the Role

This is a travel Occupational Therapist position based in Yakima, Washington, scheduled to begin on July 13, 2026. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, working 8-hour day shifts. As a traveling OT with Centra Healthcare Allied, you will deliver patient-centered therapy services while gaining experience in a new clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and design individualized occupational therapy treatment plans tailored to their functional goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy to help patients restore, develop, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.
• Track patient progress, adjust interventions as needed, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support coordinated, high-quality outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued recovery.

Qualifications

• Active occupational therapy licensure valid in the state of Washington (or eligibility to obtain it).
• Prior experience practicing as an Occupational Therapist, consistent with the demands of a travel assignment.
• Availability to work a full-time, 40-hour weekly schedule on 8-hour day shifts for the full 13-week term.
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the willingness to relocate temporarily to Yakima, Yakima County.
