About the Role
The Human Stem Cell Coordinator (Research Assistant) is an immediately available, on-site opportunity supporting the iPSC Core. In this role, you will deliver human iPSC-related services to researchers and investigators who rely on iPSC models to drive scientific discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide human iPSC-related services to investigators pursuing iPSC-based research models.
- Support the day-to-day operations and workflow of the iPSC Core at the Abigail Wexner Research Institute.
- Collaborate with scientists from Nationwide Children's Hospital, The Ohio State University, and partnering institutions interested in iPSC technologies.
- Maintain accurate records and follow established protocols for stem cell handling and culture.
Qualifications
- Experience or training relevant to human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) work or comparable cell-culture research.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow laboratory procedures precisely.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Columbus, Ohio.
- A collaborative mindset suited to a shared core facility serving multiple investigators.
