Lumen is hiring a full-time Attorney, Partnerships in Helena, Lewis and Clark County, to help structure and steward the legal foundations of the strategic alliances powering an AI-driven world.

About the Role

As an Attorney, Partnerships at Lumen, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor to teams building and managing the company's partner relationships across its fiber network and connected ecosystem. Based in Helena, Lewis and Clark County, this on-site role places you at the center of the agreements that enable secure, high-performance connectivity for enterprises, governments, and communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate partnership, alliance, and commercial agreements that support Lumen's connected ecosystem.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk, contractual obligations, and compliance considerations tied to partner engagements.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and procurement teams to align legal strategy with commercial objectives.
• Support the structuring of deals spanning cloud, edge, and AI workloads across Lumen's expansive network.
• Help develop templates, processes, and best practices that streamline partnership contracting.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a state bar.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial, partnership, or technology agreements, ideally within telecommunications, technology, or related sectors.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills with a practical, business-minded approach to legal risk.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
• Willingness to work on-site in Helena, Lewis and Clark County.
