About the Role

As a General Liability Attorney based in Uniondale, you will manage a portfolio of liability matters from intake through resolution. The position calls for a minimum of four years of hands-on general liability practice and someone who works closely with claims professionals to protect client interests at every stage of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the legal and factual issues in each matter and chart a clear strategy toward resolution.
• Maintain steady, well-documented communication with claims professionals and stakeholders throughout the life of a case.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and related litigation filings.
• Take and defend depositions while building a persuasive case record.
• Drive matters toward efficient, cost-effective outcomes without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of focused experience handling general liability cases.
• Proven skill in legal analysis and issue-spotting.
• Practical command of pleadings, motion practice, and deposition work.
• Trial experience is a welcome advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with disciplined documentation habits.
• Admission to practice law in New York (or eligibility consistent with the role).
