About the Role

As an RV Service Technician with Blue Compass RV at our Motor Home Specialist location in Alvarado, Johnson County, you'll focus on everything that makes RV living comfortable — with no engine work involved. This is an on-site, full-time opportunity ideal for skilled tradespeople who love diagnosing issues and seeing a repair through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair RV systems, components, and appliances
• Perform HVAC, electrical, and plumbing service work
• Complete carpentry, mechanical repairs, and general maintenance tasks
• Service and install appliances commonly found in recreational vehicles
• Ensure each unit meets quality and safety standards before it returns to the customer

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in one or more trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical repair, maintenance, or appliance service
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• A genuine enjoyment of working with your hands
• Willingness to learn and grow through on-the-job training
