About the Role
As the Dispatcher/Shop Quality Control Coordinator, you will be the central point of coordination for our busy Jeep service department. You will balance daily repair order assignments with hands-on quality checks, making sure every vehicle that leaves the shop meets our standards. This is a leadership position that combines scheduling judgment, technical awareness, and a commitment to getting the work done right the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign and dispatch repair work across the service team to keep throughput steady and efficient.
- Track the progress of active repairs and step in to resolve bottlenecks before they cause delays.
- Conduct road tests to confirm repairs are complete and vehicles perform as expected.
- Lead, support, and coordinate a crew of 8–10 service technicians.
- Champion quality control across the shop so finished jobs meet manufacturer and dealership expectations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an automotive service or dealership shop environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize a high volume of repair orders.
- Self-motivated with a leadership mindset and the confidence to guide a technician team.
- Solid understanding of vehicle repair processes, with the ability to road test and assess completed work.
- Able to work on site full-time in Morristown, Morris County.
