Field Project Manager – Transmission

NorthStar Energy Solutions, a Quanta Services, Inc. (NYSE: PWR) company, is searching for a driven Field Project Manager - Transmission to lead high-voltage line construction across the Central Southwest from our base in Grand Prairie, Dallas. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity to own complex transmission projects from groundbreaking to energization.

About the Role

As Field Project Manager - Transmission, you will be the on-the-ground leader responsible for delivering electrical transmission line projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Working from Grand Prairie, Dallas, you will coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders to keep critical infrastructure moving forward across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for transmission line construction, from planning through final commissioning.
• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure full compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, materials, and equipment to meet delivery commitments.
• Direct and support field crews, foremen, and subcontractors to maximize productivity and quality.
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Track progress, resolve field issues quickly, and report status to project leadership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in electrical transmission, distribution, or substation construction.
• Proven project or field management background within the utility or electrical contracting sector.
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and communication abilities in a fast-paced field environment.
• Solid working knowledge of safety practices and construction quality standards.
• Willingness to work on-site in and around Grand Prairie, Dallas, with travel to project locations as needed.
