Lab Tech II

BAUSHLINNEMANN NORTH AMERICA INC (operating as SURTECO NA) is hiring a full-time Lab Tech II in Myrtle Beach, Horry County — a hands-on laboratory role with a respected leader in decorative surface manufacturing.

About the Role

As a Lab Tech II based in Myrtle Beach, you will support quality and product development efforts within our laboratory, applying technical attention to detail to help ensure the consistency and performance of our decorative surface products. This is an on-site, full-time position that combines routine testing with collaborative problem-solving alongside an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory tests, sample preparation, and measurements following established procedures and quality standards.
• Document results accurately and report findings to support production and product development.
• Assist in monitoring material and product quality, flagging variations or issues as they arise.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Partner with production, quality, and technical colleagues to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a laboratory or technical testing environment, consistent with a Lab Tech II level.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling samples and recording data.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and adhere to safety and quality requirements.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Willingness to work on-site in Myrtle Beach, Horry County.
