Adjunct – CIS & Cybersecurity Fall 2026

Chestnut Hill College is seeking an experienced educator to join the Center for Data & Society as an Adjunct Professor of CIS & Cybersecurity for the Fall 2026 semester in Wyndmoor, Montgomery County. This on-campus teaching role offers the chance to shape the next generation of computing and information security professionals.

About the Role

As an Adjunct - CIS & Cybersecurity (Fall 2026) at Chestnut Hill College, you will deliver undergraduate coursework within the Center for Data & Society, located in the Philadelphia, PA area. Classes are taught face-to-face on the Wyndmoor campus, with each section meeting twice per week for 75-minute sessions. Specific meeting times will be finalized closer to the start of the term.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Fall 2026 courses, which may include Applied Operating Systems, Management Information Systems (two sections), and Database Security.
• Prepare and lead engaging in-person instruction during twice-weekly 75-minute class meetings.
• Develop course materials, assessments, and learning activities aligned with program objectives.
• Support and mentor students pursuing careers in computer information systems and cybersecurity.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in computer information systems, cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
• Subject-matter knowledge relevant to the assigned courses, such as operating systems, information systems management, and database security.
• Prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
• Ability to teach on campus in Wyndmoor and commit to a twice-weekly schedule for the Fall 2026 semester.
