Administrator on Duty – Overnight

Idaho Youth Ranch is hiring a full-time Administrator on Duty - Overnight in Weitz, Canyon County, to oversee residential care operations during nighttime hours and help shape a new era of support for the youth we serve.

About the Role

As the Administrator on Duty - Overnight, you will serve as the on-site leadership presence throughout the night, ensuring that our residential care environment remains safe, stable, and responsive when it matters most. This Weitz, Canyon County position places you at the center of our mission to nurture hope, healing, and resilience for Idaho's young people, with a chance to help establish standards of care that will benefit generations to come.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overnight leadership and on-site supervision across the residential care setting.
• Safeguard the wellbeing, safety, and daily routines of youth in our care during evening and early-morning hours.
• Respond calmly and effectively to situations that arise outside of standard business hours.
• Support and guide overnight staff, helping maintain a consistent, trauma-informed environment.
• Document incidents, communications, and shift activity to ensure smooth handoffs to daytime teams.

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to the mission and values of Idaho Youth Ranch.
• Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions independently during overnight shifts.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work full-time on an overnight schedule in Weitz, Canyon County.
• Experience in residential care, youth services, or a related field is valuable.
