About the Role
As a Field Trip Driver based in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, you will report directly to Dispatch and the Operations Manager. This is a full-time, on-site position centered on the safe and reliable transport of passengers to scheduled field trip destinations. Trips may cover considerable distances, and on occasion an overnight stay away from home may be required, so flexibility and advance availability are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport passengers on assigned field trips.
- Take direction from and coordinate closely with Dispatch and the Operations Manager.
- Remain available, with reasonable advance notice, to undertake long-distance routes.
- Be willing to accommodate overnight travel when a trip schedule calls for it.
- Uphold a consistently safe, collision-free standard behind the wheel at all times.
Qualifications
- A pristine or very nearly pristine driving history, free of vehicular collisions and incidents.
- Readiness to travel long distances and stay overnight when assignments demand it.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of Dispatch and the Operations Manager.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to passenger safety.
