About the Role
As a Community Assistant at HERE Tuscaloosa in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, you'll partner with the on-site leadership team to drive new resident interest while keeping current residents engaged and happy. This full-time, in-person position blends customer service, sales support, and community-building, making it an ideal fit for outgoing students who thrive in a people-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a front-line ambassador for the HERE Tuscaloosa community and the Article Student Living brand
- Lead guided property tours that showcase amenities and floor plans to prospective residents
- Connect with interested renters and help convert qualified leads into signed residents
- Plan, promote, and participate in resident events and community activities
- Support property managers and leasing staff with day-to-day on-site initiatives
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for existing residents
Qualifications
- Current student or resident status preferred
- Friendly, approachable personality with strong verbal communication skills
- Comfort engaging with prospective and current residents in person
- Reliable, team-oriented, and enthusiastic about campus and community life
- Availability to work on-site in Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County
