About the Role
As a Ski and Bike Mechanic with Montage Hotels & Resorts, you will be the technical expert behind every memorable guest adventure. Based on-site in the US, you will service, tune, and repair skis, snowboards, and bicycles so that every piece of gear performs safely and reliably, season after season.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, tune, and repair skis, snowboards, and bicycles to manufacturer and safety standards
- Mount and adjust bindings, sharpen edges, wax bases, and complete drivetrain and brake servicing
- Diagnose mechanical issues quickly and recommend the right fix for each guest
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workshop and tool inventory
- Fit guests with properly sized, ready-to-ride equipment and offer friendly usage guidance
- Track service records and ensure equipment meets resort quality expectations
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience servicing ski, snowboard, and/or bicycle equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Genuine enthusiasm for mountain sports and outdoor recreation
- A guest-first attitude with clear, approachable communication skills
- Ability to work full-time on-site and stay organized in a busy seasonal environment
