Perkins&Will is seeking an accomplished FFE Director to lead furniture, fixtures, and equipment strategy from our studio in Highland Park, Dallas. In this full-time, on-site role, you will shape how interior environments are specified, sourced, and brought to life across a diverse portfolio of design projects.
About the Role
As the FFE Director at Perkins&Will in Highland Park, Dallas, you will own the complete FF&E journey, partnering with design teams to translate creative vision into procured, installed reality. This position blends design sensibility with procurement discipline, requiring you to balance aesthetic intent against budget realities and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with design teams to build strategic FF&E procurement plans that honor each project's creative direction, financial parameters, and delivery timeline.
- Direct the FF&E scope across several concurrent projects, guiding each from early concept through final on-site installation.
- Investigate, assess, and curate furniture, fixture, and equipment selections suited to the functional and aesthetic goals of every engagement.
- Coordinate sourcing, specification, and logistics to keep furnishings aligned with the overall design narrative.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership managing FF&E across the full project lifecycle, from concept development to installation.
- Strong command of furniture, fixture, and equipment sourcing, evaluation, and specification.
- Ability to oversee multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining alignment with design vision, budget, and schedule.
- Collaborative approach to working alongside architects and interior design teams.
