About the Role

As a Utility Steward Food Service team member with Camp Twin Lakes Inc in Rutledge, Georgia, you will help keep our kitchen and dining operations running smoothly. This hands-on, behind-the-scenes position is central to delivering clean, safe, and welcoming dining spaces for the children and communities we serve at our fully accessible campsites.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and serving equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dishwashing area, and dining spaces throughout each shift.
• Assist food service staff with basic prep, stocking, and setup or breakdown of meal areas.
• Manage waste removal, recycling, and ongoing sanitation tasks.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards to support a healthy environment for campers and staff.
• Support a smooth, dependable dining experience during summer camps, day camps, and weekend retreats.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work as part of a team in an active, mission-driven kitchen environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning.
