InterVarsity is hiring a full-time Campus Staff Minister (ID/MT/OR/WA, Graduate & Faculty Ministry) to build and nurture faith communities among graduate students and faculty across Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. This is an on-site campus role connected to InterVarsity's work in Washington, D.C.
About the Role
As a Campus Staff Minister with InterVarsity's Graduate & Faculty Ministry, you will help establish and grow witnessing communities of graduate students and faculty who follow Jesus on college and university campuses. Serving the ID/MT/OR/WA region, you will accompany academics across diverse ethnic backgrounds and disciplines, fostering spaces where they can grow in faith and live it out within the university world.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant, develop, and sustain campus fellowships for graduate students and faculty.
- Disciple and mentor students and academics as they follow Jesus in their scholarly and professional lives.
- Cultivate welcoming, inclusive communities that reach people from every ethnic group and corner of campus.
- Build relationships with students, faculty, and partners to extend InterVarsity's presence across the region.
- Provide spiritual leadership, teaching, and care that strengthen each community over time.
Qualifications
- A personal Christian faith and alignment with InterVarsity's mission and ministry vision.
- Heart for graduate students and faculty within the academic and university environment.
- Strong relational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to serve across the ID/MT/OR/WA region in a full-time capacity.
- Commitment to building communities that welcome people of all ethnic and academic backgrounds.
