Pricing Analyst V (Intel, Cyber & Energy)

Amentum is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst V (Intel, Cyber & Energy) to join our team on-site at Carson Mall in Carson City. In this senior, full-time pricing role, you will craft competitive, compliant cost strategies that power mission-critical programs across the intelligence, cyber, and energy sectors.

About the Role

As a Pricing Analyst V at Amentum in Carson City, you will own complex cost and pricing analysis for high-stakes proposals and contracts. Working closely with capture, finance, and program teams, you'll translate technical requirements into defensible pricing models that balance value, risk, and profitability while meeting government and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and validate detailed cost and pricing models for intelligence, cyber, and energy pursuits.
• Lead pricing strategy for proposals, ensuring competitiveness alongside full regulatory compliance.
• Analyze labor rates, direct and indirect costs, escalation, and fee structures to support bid decisions.
• Partner with capture managers, contracts, and finance to align pricing with program objectives.
• Prepare clear cost narratives, basis-of-estimate documentation, and pricing summaries for leadership review.
• Mentor junior analysts and help refine pricing tools, templates, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive, senior-level experience in cost estimating and pricing analysis, ideally within government or defense contracting.
• Strong command of cost modeling, rate development, and compliance frameworks relevant to federal proposals.
• Familiarity with the intelligence, cyber, and/or energy markets is highly valued.
• Advanced analytical and spreadsheet skills, with sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to present pricing rationale to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site at the Carson City location and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
