If you take pride in precise, safety-first fieldwork, this on-site role puts you at the front line of emissions monitoring.

About the Role

As a Leak Detection Monitoring Tech I in Roxana, you will serve as an LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) Technician, locating and recording fugitive gas emissions from industrial equipment. Working alongside a safety-conscious crew, you'll help the facility stay aligned with EPA standards by methodically surveying components and capturing accurate readings. This is a full-time, fully on-site position — there is no remote option.

Key Responsibilities

• Detect, log, and tag fugitive emissions (gas leaks) escaping from industrial components such as valves and pumps.
• Operate specialized monitoring instruments, including Toxic Vapor Analyzers (TVAs) following EPA Method 21 protocols.
• Document findings thoroughly to support regulatory reporting and ongoing EPA compliance.
• Carry out daily monitoring routes at the assigned customer site while upholding strict safety practices.
• Coordinate with team members to flag components that require repair or follow-up.

Qualifications

• A strong commitment to workplace safety and consistent adherence to procedures.
• Comfort working hands-on in an industrial plant environment.
• Attention to detail and reliable record-keeping skills for accurate emissions documentation.
• Willingness to learn and apply EPA Method 21 techniques and use TVA monitoring equipment.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Roxana.
