Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is hiring a Senior Real Estate Agent in San Jose, Santa Clara County, to help shape how transportation and property come together across the region. This full-time, on-site position sits within VTA's newly combined Multimodal Planning and Real Estate team.
About the Role
As a Senior Real Estate Agent at VTA, you will play a central part in advancing real estate efforts that support public transit and mobility throughout Santa Clara County. Working alongside a mission-driven group, you will help connect planning priorities with practical property decisions that move major transportation initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate real estate activities tied to VTA's transit and transportation programs.
- Collaborate with the Multimodal Planning and Real Estate team to align property strategy with regional mobility goals.
- Support efforts that strengthen transportation and real estate connections across Santa Clara County.
- Contribute real estate expertise to planning work, including coordination with the Congestion Management Program (CMP) and related transit planning.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a real estate professional, ideally at a senior level.
- Strong knowledge of real estate practices relevant to public agencies and transportation projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary planning and real estate team.
- Commitment to public service and to improving mobility across the Santa Clara County region.
