About the Role

As a Video Editor/Producer at WQED Multimedia, you'll be a hands-on visual storyteller based in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County. This on-site, full-time position is ideal for an inventive, technically gifted creator who thrives working independently and wants their work seen by the wide community WQED reaches. You'll shape promotional pieces that spotlight the breadth and quality of our shows and help more people connect with what WQED has to offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and edit engaging marketing and promotional videos that reinforce the WQED Multimedia brand.
• Develop creative content that promotes WQED programs across television, radio, and streaming channels.
• Translate ideas into polished, audience-ready stories from concept through final edit.
• Drive projects forward independently while maintaining a consistent, high-quality creative standard.
• Help expand awareness of WQED's diverse programming and grow audience engagement.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in video editing and production, ideally for promotional or marketing content.
• Strong creative instincts paired with solid technical command of editing tools and workflows.
• A self-starter who manages their own time, takes initiative, and follows projects through to completion.
• Skilled at visual storytelling that captivates and resonates with viewers.
