About the Role
As a K-12 Art Teacher with Global Education Excellence, you will design and deliver a comprehensive visual arts curriculum for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Based at Pittsfield Academy in Ypsilanti, this is an exempt, full-time position reporting directly to the Academy Principal. You will help students of all ages discover artistic expression while building foundational creative and critical-thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach age-appropriate art lessons spanning the full K-12 range.
- Develop curriculum that encourages creativity, technique, and artistic confidence.
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback across grade levels.
- Cultivate an inclusive, encouraging classroom that supports academic achievement.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to the wider school community.
- Participate in structured mentorship and ongoing professional development.
