About the Role
As the part-time National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Project Manager, you will steer environmental compliance and planning initiatives from start to finish. Working on-site in Triana, Madison County, you will oversee the production of Environmental Assessments (EAs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs), keeping each effort aligned with federal NEPA requirements while directing the specialists who carry the analysis forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate environmental compliance and planning activities across assigned projects.
- Direct both staff-level and project-level environmental specialists throughout each engagement.
- Oversee the development of Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements.
- Serve as the dedicated part-time Project Manager for an environmental program, ensuring deliverables meet NEPA standards.
- Support sound documentation, scheduling, and quality across the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and federal environmental compliance processes.
- Experience preparing or managing Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor environmental specialists at multiple levels.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills suited to a part-time, on-site schedule in Triana, Madison County.
