ONEOK, Inc is hiring an Engineer III to drive capital growth and maintenance projects across its Natural Gas Liquids operations, working a hybrid schedule based in Medford, OK, Bushton, KS, or Hutchinson, KS. This is a full-time opportunity to build a long-term engineering career with a Fortune 500 midstream energy leader near Great Bend, Kansas.
About the Role
As an Engineer III with ONEOK, Inc, you will apply your technical expertise to support both growth-focused capital initiatives and ongoing maintenance capital work spanning the company's Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) segment. The position is hybrid, giving you the flexibility to combine on-site engagement at our Kansas and Oklahoma facilities with focused project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and deliver capital growth projects across the Natural Gas Liquids business segment.
- Manage maintenance capital projects to keep midstream infrastructure safe, reliable, and efficient.
- Apply engineering principles to evaluate, design, and optimize energy infrastructure systems.
- Champion a safety-first mindset and support sustainable, environmentally responsible operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Medford, OK, Bushton, KS, and Hutchinson, KS locations.
Qualifications
- Proven engineering experience suited to a mid-to-senior (Engineer III) level role.
- Background relevant to midstream, energy infrastructure, or natural gas liquids projects.
- Ability to manage capital and maintenance projects from concept through completion.
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule across the designated Kansas and Oklahoma sites.
- Strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.
