About the Role
As a Heavy Equipment Operator with Royal Electric in San Antonio, you will be a key part of our field operations, putting your hands-on skill and equipment expertise to work on active job sites. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Bexar County, ideal for an operator who values craftsmanship, accountability, and being part of a tight-knit crew that delivers exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver heavy construction equipment on electrical construction and service projects.
- Support grading, excavation, lifting, loading, and material handling tasks as directed by site supervision.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to keep machinery running reliably.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your teammates, and the worksite.
- Coordinate closely with field crews, foremen, and project leads to keep work on schedule.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment, ideally on construction or utility job sites.
- Working knowledge of jobsite safety standards and safe equipment handling practices.
- Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a team-first mindset.
- Ability to perform the physical demands of field work in an outdoor construction environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in the San Antonio / Bexar County area.
