About the Role

As a Daycare Caregiver and Daytime Floater with Cheatham County Schools, you will step in wherever support is needed across the daycare program, supervising assigned children and keeping their daily experience positive, structured, and age-appropriate. This is a hands-on position centered on the safety, comfort, and development of every child in your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Watch over and supervise all assigned children to protect their safety and overall well-being throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and developmentally suitable setting for children of varying ages.
• Prepare and lead simple lesson plans and engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Handle daily operational tasks such as tidying spaces, sanitizing materials, and securing the facility.
• Respond flexibly to the changing day-to-day needs of the daycare, filling in across roles as a floater.
