Program Director – Villa Residence

The Doe Fund is hiring a full-time Program Director for its Villa Residence in the Jerome section of the Bronx, New York City — an on-site leadership role with one of the city's most respected work-based nonprofits.

About the Role

As Program Director of the Villa Residence, you will oversee daily operations and program delivery at a residential site supporting individuals served by The Doe Fund. This is an on-location position based in Jerome, Bronx — not a remote role — and is central to advancing the organization's mission of helping people achieve stability, employment, and self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the Villa Residence and ensure a safe, supportive environment for residents.
• Lead, supervise, and develop site staff to deliver high-quality program services.
• Oversee program planning, scheduling, and coordination of resident support and case-management activities.
• Monitor program outcomes and maintain accurate records, reporting, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to strengthen services and resources for participants.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and supervisory experience, ideally within social services, residential, or nonprofit program settings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team-management skills.
• A genuine commitment to The Doe Fund's work-based mission and the people it serves.
• Ability to work full-time on-site at the Villa Residence in Jerome, Bronx.
