About the Role
TalentBurst, Inc is hiring a Travel Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 12-week travel nursing contract in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a night-shift position working three 12-hour shifts each week (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM), totaling 36 hours weekly, at a facility located on Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville. The assignment begins on June 29, 2026, and the posted pay rate is $2,153 per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to oncology patients throughout each overnight shift.
- Administer treatments, medications, and chemotherapy in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and respond promptly to evolving clinical needs during night hours.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate safe, high-quality treatment plans.
- Educate and support patients and their families through the realities of cancer care.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in North Carolina.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in oncology nursing.
- Availability for the full 12-week duration and comfort working a 12-hour night schedule.
