About the Role

This is a field-based technician position serving the Phoenix and Chandler, Arizona area, with regional travel as part of the job. As an Overhead Crane & Hoist Service Technician, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain overhead cranes and hoists across customer sites, ensuring every system meets safety and performance standards. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of up to $45 per hour depending on your experience, skills, location, and credentials, with top performers frequently increasing their earnings through overtime and travel pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on overhead cranes, hoists, and related lifting equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective corrective action in the field
• Travel regionally to customer locations throughout the greater Phoenix and Chandler, Arizona area
• Follow all applicable safety codes, standards, and service procedures on every job
• Document service work clearly and communicate findings and recommendations to customers

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing overhead cranes, hoists, or comparable industrial equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel within the region and work in a field-based capacity
• A valid driver's license and a commitment to working safely
• Relevant credentials or certifications are valued and can influence pay
