J & A is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for the Coachlight community in Brandon, Mississippi (Rankin County), where you'll keep residential units in top condition and help residents feel at home.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician at the Coachlight property in Brandon, MS, you'll handle the hands-on upkeep of residential units and shared grounds. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll move between repair calls, unit turnovers, and inspection prep, delivering dependable, friendly service that protects the value of the property and the comfort of its residents. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Rankin County.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out everyday maintenance across residential units, including basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
- Complete interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and general cleaning as needed.
- Prepare vacated units for inspection and ready them for incoming residents.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of building grounds and common areas.
- Inspect units and property features, diagnose issues, and complete timely repairs.
- Provide courteous, high-quality service in every interaction with residents.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with general residential maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliance repair.
- Ability to assess property conditions and complete repairs efficiently and correctly.
- Strong attention to detail when preparing units for inspection and new occupancy.
- A service-minded approach and reliable, professional communication with residents and supervisors.
- Willingness to work on-site in Brandon, Mississippi.
