HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is hiring a Travel Labor & Delivery RN in Mayfield, Kentucky, for a 13-week assignment supporting expectant families through every stage of birth. About the Role
As a Travel Labor & Delivery RN with HealthTrust Workforce Solution External, you will join a dedicated maternity team in Mayfield, Hancock County. This is a full-time travel position scheduled to begin on 07/20/2026, running for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week. You will work 12-hour night shifts, providing skilled bedside care to laboring patients, newborns, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after labor and delivery
- Continuously monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond promptly to changes
- Assist physicians and the care team throughout vaginal and cesarean births
- Provide immediate newborn assessment, stabilization, and care
- Educate and support patients and families across the birthing experience
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with facility standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with Labor and Delivery experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current AWHONN certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current HWC certification
- Current NRP certification
- Current PALS certification
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week, night-shift travel assignment in Mayfield, Kentucky
