Wadkins Associates is hiring a full-time Project Finance Associate in the US to join the Energy practice of a respected UK-based international firm with a strong reputation across the project finance market.
About the Role
As a Project Finance Associate at Wadkins Associates, you will support an established Energy team that advises lenders, sponsors, and developers on complex transactions throughout the South East Asian region. This US-based, full-time position offers the chance to work on high-calibre matters alongside partners who are widely recognised as leaders in their field, giving you exposure to the quality of work that distinguishes this practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise lenders, sponsors, and developers on project finance transactions within the Energy sector.
- Contribute to deals spanning the South East Asian market alongside senior partners.
- Draft, review, and negotiate financing documentation across the transaction lifecycle.
- Coordinate with clients and counterparties to move matters forward efficiently.
- Support the broader team in maintaining its standing in the project finance space.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience or a genuine interest in project finance, ideally within the Energy sector.
- Familiarity with cross-border financing arrangements involving lenders, sponsors, and developers.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation capabilities.
- The ability to manage detailed work to a high standard within a collaborative team.
- Eligibility to work full-time in the US.
