About the Role
As a Pediatric RN with BrightStar Care of Valparaiso, you will deliver skilled, high acuity nursing care to pediatric clients in the comfort of their own homes. This role is ideal for an RN who is passionate about building trusting relationships with families and providing a higher standard of compassionate, clinically excellent care to children across Porter County.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized, high acuity nursing care to pediatric clients in a home setting.
- Monitor each child's condition, document care accurately, and respond to changes in their health status.
- Follow physician orders and established plans of care while upholding BrightStar Care's quality standards.
- Communicate clearly and supportively with children, parents, and caregivers.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, consistent, and family-centered service.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- A genuine passion for caring for children and serving families in their homes.
- Experience with or willingness to provide high acuity pediatric care.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Reliability, compassion, and a commitment to delivering a higher standard of homecare.
