About the Role

As a Mechanic Helper at Kauai Coffee, you will work side-by-side with an experienced Journeyman Mechanic, learning the craft while helping keep our farm running smoothly. You'll support the upkeep, troubleshooting, and tuning of a wide range of machinery that powers daily coffee farm operations in Kalaheo, Kauai. Key Responsibilities

• Assist a Journeyman Mechanic with diagnosing, repairing, and adjusting equipment across the farm
• Help service and maintain automotive vehicles used throughout operations
• Support repairs and adjustments to agricultural equipment and implements
• Aid in the upkeep of the various machinery essential to coffee farm production
• Learn proper tool handling, safety practices, and repair techniques under direct supervision

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma (or equivalent education)
• Willingness to learn under the guidance of an experienced mechanic
• Comfortable working hands-on with vehicles, agricultural implements, and farm equipment
