About the Role
As Lab Manager at Taylor Health Care Group, you will oversee the complex, fast-moving work of our clinical laboratory in Hawkinsville. This full-time, on-site leadership position centers on bringing structure and cohesion to specialized lab functions, strengthening cross-team integration, and keeping our diagnostic services dependable and competitive within the regional healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the diverse, highly technical activities of the laboratory, ensuring smooth and efficient daily workflows.
- Deliver accurate diagnostic and therapeutic laboratory information, products, and services that support sound clinical decision-making.
- Establish and maintain reliable specimen collection, handling, and testing protocols.
- Improve the integration of lab processes with other departments to support a consistently positive patient experience.
- Help the laboratory remain relevant and competitive through ongoing operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing or directing a clinical or medical laboratory environment.
- Strong working knowledge of laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and specimen management.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to organize and streamline multifaceted operations.
- A patient-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality, dependable results.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site role based in Hawkinsville, Pulaski County.
