About the Role
As the Quality and Safety Manager, you will partner with Koniag Operations Services (KOS) and our government customer in Arlington, VA, to uphold rigorous quality and safety standards across program operations. This position is tied to a Future New Business Opportunity and requires a current Secret clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve quality assurance processes that meet contractual and customer requirements.
- Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and practices to protect personnel and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and assessments to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Track quality and safety metrics, document findings, and report outcomes to leadership and the government customer.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety awareness, and operational excellence across the program.
Qualifications
- An active Secret security clearance (required).
- Demonstrated experience managing quality assurance and safety functions, ideally within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Working knowledge of applicable quality standards and occupational safety regulations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to lead audits and drive corrective action.
- Availability to work on-site in Arlington County, Virginia (this is not a remote position).
