Grey, part of WPP, is searching for a Senior Copywriter to join our team in New York City, New York — a full-time, on-site role for a writer who turns sharp ideas into work that moves people and brands.
About the Role
As a Senior Copywriter at Grey in New York City, you'll shape the voice of some of the world's most influential brands. Working on-site alongside art directors, strategists, and creative directors, you'll craft concepts and copy designed to solve real business problems through the power of creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop original, persuasive copy across campaigns, channels, and brand touchpoints.
- Partner with art direction and strategy to build ideas from concept through to finished execution.
- Translate complex business challenges into clear, compelling creative solutions.
- Present and defend creative thinking to internal teams and clients.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice while pushing the work toward fresh, effective ideas.
- Mentor and guide junior writers, raising the standard of craft across the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a copywriter, with a portfolio demonstrating senior-level creative thinking.
- Mastery of long- and short-form writing across multiple formats and media.
- A conceptual mind able to connect creative ideas to business outcomes.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a fast-moving agency environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in New York City as part of a full-time role.
