About the Role
As a Service Advisor in Wilmington, NC, you serve as the trusted link between our customers and the service department at Velocity Vehicle Group. You will guide truckers, owner-operators, and fleet clients through the repair and maintenance process, translating technical findings into clear recommendations and keeping vehicles moving and downtime low.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, understand their service needs, and open accurate repair orders.
- Coordinate with skilled technicians to schedule and prioritize work efficiently.
- Communicate estimates, timelines, and repair updates in plain, honest terms.
- Recommend appropriate maintenance and parts to keep commercial trucks road-ready.
- Deliver a full-service experience that reflects our reputation as a one-stop shop.
- Maintain clear records and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, ideally in an automotive, truck, or dealership setting.
- Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities in a fast-paced service department.
- Comfort discussing service work and explaining recommendations to commercial clients.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable as part of a service team.
- Authorization to work on-site full-time in Wilmington, New Hanover County, NC.
