About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site travel nursing position with HCS 247 in Columbus, Ohio. As a Travel CVICU Registered Nurse, you will care for critically ill cardiovascular and post-surgical patients during a 13-week contract working 36 hours each week. The schedule is built around 12-hour night shifts, with a planned start date of July 13, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) patients.
- Monitor, assess, and respond to the needs of critically ill and post-operative cardiac patients.
- Administer medications, manage advanced equipment, and document care accurately throughout each shift.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain safety, infection-control, and quality standards across 12-hour night shifts.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Ohio.
- Proven clinical experience in a CVICU or comparable critical care setting.
- Availability to commit to a 13-week, 36-hour-per-week travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.
- Willingness to work 12-hour overnight shifts on-site in Columbus, Hempstead County.
