About the Role
As a Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse with Focus Staff, you'll deliver hands-on cardiac and progressive care in a Tucson-area hospital setting. This is a full-time travel assignment scheduled to begin on July 20, 2026, running for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week. Shifts are 12-hour days, giving you a consistent, predictable schedule throughout the contract. This position is on-site in Little Tucson, Pima County — not a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to telemetry and progressive-care patients during 12-hour day shifts.
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry readings, and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, manage treatment plans, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the broader care team to coordinate patient outcomes.
- Adapt quickly to unit needs as a float-capable telemetry RN across the assigned facility.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Arizona.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing.
- Comfortable working as a float nurse and adjusting to varied unit assignments.
- Availability for the full 13-week contract starting July 20, 2026, working 36 hours weekly on 12-hour day shifts.
- Willingness to relocate temporarily to or commute within the Little Tucson, Pima County area for the duration of the assignment.
