About the Role

This is a hospital-employed Urologist position within a long-standing, high-volume practice in Bangor, Maine. You will become the seventh physician on a collaborative team of urologists, contributing to a thriving program supported by modern robotic surgical capabilities and a schedule designed around a four-day work week.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive urologic care to a diverse patient population across northern and eastern Maine.
• Perform robotic and minimally invasive surgical procedures using current surgical technology.
• Diagnose and manage conditions including urinary stone disease, urinary tumors, urethral strictures, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
• Work alongside six established urologists in a well-coordinated, hospital-employed practice.
• Apply any fellowship-trained subspecialty expertise, particularly in endourology, to enhance program offerings.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology.
• Three to five years of clinical experience preferred.
• Fellowship training and subspecialty interests are welcomed and encouraged — including endourology with an emphasis on stone disease, tumors, strictures, and BPH.
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care within a team-based environment.
