Radiology/Imaging – MRI Tech

Are you an experienced MRI Technologist ready for your next opportunity? Trinity Health Oakland is seeking a dedicated Radiology/Imaging - MRI Tech to join its imaging team in Sylvan Lake, Oakland County, on a full-time basis.

About the Role

This MRI Tech position supports a fast-paced radiology and imaging department, offered as a travel assignment spanning approximately 12.86 weeks. The schedule covers night shifts (three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), making it an excellent fit for technologists who thrive in an overnight clinical environment near Pontiac, MI.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations following established clinical protocols and physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients safely, explaining each step to ensure comfort and cooperation during scans.
• Screen patients thoroughly for MRI safety contraindications and verify the imaging area remains hazard-free.
• Operate and monitor MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the broader radiology and care team.
• Uphold infection-control, quality, and patient-care standards throughout each night shift.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience working as an MRI Technologist in a clinical or hospital imaging setting.
• Comfort performing MRI procedures independently during overnight hours.
• Appropriate certification and licensure required to practice as an MRI Tech.
• Strong attention to patient safety, detail, and communication.
• Availability for a 12-week travel assignment on a 3x12 night-shift schedule.
