About the Role
BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a driven, patient-centered Doctor of Optometry to serve members at its Springfield, Delaware County location. As an Independent Optometrist, you operate your own practice independently, setting your schedule and clinical approach while BJ's Optical® supplies the value, selection, and service that keep members coming back.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and assess patients' overall visual health
- Diagnose vision conditions and prescribe corrective lenses tailored to each member's needs
- Build lasting relationships through attentive, patient-first care
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your independent optometry practice
- Partner with the on-site BJ's Optical® team to ensure a smooth member experience
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Active license to practice optometry in Pennsylvania
- A motivated, self-directed approach to running an independent practice
- A genuine commitment to delivering best-in-class, patient-focused care
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Springfield, Delaware County
