About the Role

As a Street & Stormwater Maintenance Worker I, you will perform a wide range of maintenance tasks while operating various pieces of equipment used in the construction, repair, upkeep, and replacement of city streets and stormwater drainage infrastructure. The position is based on-site in Arkansas City, Cowley County, and is not a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance work on city streets, roadways, and stormwater drainage systems.
• Operate and assist with a variety of equipment used in construction, repair, and replacement projects.
• Support the ongoing operation, upkeep, and improvement of public street and drainage infrastructure.
• Help ensure that streets and stormwater systems remain safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents.
