About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician at Witham Hill Oaks in Corvallis, Oregon, you will help keep this large residential community running smoothly. This is a non-exempt, full-time position scheduled Thursday through Monday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will also participate in a region-based rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours emergencies. The role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive upkeep across apartment homes, common areas, and grounds throughout the 420-unit property.
• Diagnose and complete repairs spanning general maintenance disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Prepare vacant units for incoming residents through cleaning, painting, and make-ready work.
• Respond promptly to resident service requests and accurately document completed work.
• Share in the rotating on-call rotation to address urgent after-hours maintenance needs.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in apartment, residential, or facilities maintenance is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of common building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC fundamentals.
• Availability to work a Thursday through Monday schedule and to participate in rotating on-call coverage.
• Dependable, customer-focused, and able to prioritize multiple service requests with limited supervision.
• Capable of performing the physical tasks associated with property maintenance work.
