Civia Health is hiring a full-time Principal Investigator, MD to lead Phase 2–4 clinical trials on-site in the United States, guiding scientific integrity and patient-centered research within a forward-thinking clinical organization.
About the Role
As Principal Investigator, MD at Civia Health, you will direct the design and execution of interventional clinical studies across Phase 2 through Phase 4. Reporting to the Medical Director, you will serve as the clinical and scientific authority for each trial you oversee, balancing rigorous methodology with genuine compassion for the patients who participate. This is a US-based, full-time position for a physician who wants to help redefine how trials are delivered—by keeping patients at the center and giving providers room to lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall medical and scientific leadership for assigned Phase 2–4 clinical trials.
- Safeguard the safety, rights, and wellbeing of every enrolled participant throughout each study.
- Ensure protocol adherence, data accuracy, and compliance with applicable regulatory and ethical standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Director, clinical staff, and study coordinators to advance research goals.
- Review study findings and contribute clinical expertise that supports sound, evidence-based decisions.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with the credentials required to serve as a Principal Investigator.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing clinical trials, ideally spanning Phase 2 through Phase 4.
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodology, study oversight, and patient safety practices.
- A collaborative, mission-driven approach and a sincere commitment to patient-first care.
- Authorization to work on-site in the United States in a full-time capacity.
