As a Chinese Cantonese Distance Learning Associate Language Instructor at The Unconventional in Camp Murray, Pierce County, you will support an established program delivering Live Virtual Distance Learning (DL) instruction in Foreign Language, Regional Expertise, and Cultural (LREC) studies. The position centers on strengthening Cantonese proficiency for learners while contributing to the broader services that keep the LREC program running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead live, virtual Cantonese language sessions designed to raise learners' foreign language proficiency across core skill areas.
• Support ongoing Distance Learning (DL) instruction within the Foreign Language, Regional Expertise, and Cultural (LREC) program.
• Provide LREC program support services that help sustain effective delivery of the curriculum.
• Integrate regional and cultural context into lessons to deepen learner understanding alongside language skills.
• Contribute to additional instructional duties as the program requires.

Qualifications

• Strong command of Chinese Cantonese with the ability to teach the language to others.
